Entertaiment

Entertaiment means amusement or enjoyment, and it includes activities such as watching movies, television shows, or TV series; playing games; listening to music; reading books or novels; enjoying sports and other recreational activities; and viewing or creating visual art. These activities can be social, cultural, or intellectual. The word comes from the Medieval Latin intertenere, a compound of the prefix inter meaning “inside” and the suffix tenere, from the Indo-European root ten, meaning to hold or stretch.
