Categories of Entertaiment

A broad category of activities ranging from ceremonial rites to partying, from sporting events to music and dance, from drama to literary work. Some of these activities have a serious purpose, as in the case of religious festivals and satire, while others are simply intended for amusement and the enjoyment of the senses. Entertaiment is a complex phenomenon, and there is no obvious way to categorize it. However, some of the categories that we can use to distinguish it are listed below:
