Entertaiment is an activity or product that brings joy and amusement to others. It can also be used to stimulate learning and provide a means of social interaction. Entertainment can vary in scale from an individual selecting a personal entertainment product from a vast array of pre-recorded materials; to a dinner party adapted for entertaining two or more people, with the appropriate music and food; to performances intended for thousands of people and broadcast for global audiences. The word derives from the Medieval Latin intertenere and the Indo-European root ten. [1]
